Collection: Air Jordan 5

The Air Jordan 5 is a popular basketball shoe first released by Nike in 1990. It was designed by Tinker Hatfield and worn by Michael Jordan during his 1990-1991 NBA season. The shoe features a unique design that includes synthetic mesh on the sides, a visible Air-Sole unit in the heel, and a translucent outsole with a unique traction pattern.

The Air Jordan 5 was the first shoe in the Air Jordan line with a reflective tongue inspired by World War II fighter planes. The shoe also features 23" embroidery on the heel, representing Jordan's jersey number during his time with the Chicago Bulls.

Over the years, the Air Jordan 5 has been released in numerous colorways, including the iconic Black/Metallic Silver and Grape colors. The shoe has also been re-released several times, including in 2000, 2006 and 2013, as well as being part of the 2016 Take Flight and 2020 Fire Red collections.
